Uriel Montoya is a second-generation electrician. He was exposed to the basics of electrical work during many
weekends and summers accompanying his father to work. Uriel continued to build on this field knowledge
throughout high school, college and graduate school. After working on the field of education for several
years he decided to formalize his training as an electrician and join his father, Catarino, in the family
business.
In 2013, Uriel obtained his electrical license. He holds a City of Chicago Supervising Electrician’s License
and is registered to do electrical work in Cicero, Berwyn, and surrounding suburbs. He stays current in the
electrical trade through trainings and provides ample field experience to crew members. As the supervising
electrician at Montoya LLC, he is responsible for project administration and management. Under his
management, the company has grown and expanded the company’s portfolio to include large-scale projects.
